The University of Isfahan's journey began in 1946 with the School of Nursing, followed by the Faculty of Medicine in 1950. A pivotal moment came in 1958 with the establishment of the Faculty of Literature, marking the university's true foundation. The institution evolved rapidly, adding diverse departments including languages, geography, history, and social sciences. In 1967, under Dr. Motamedi's leadership, the university gained independence and expanded to a thousand-acre campus, establishing itself as a comprehensive academic institution
